Do I have to pay for fuel?
No. CoCommute has no payments or settlements at all — only mutual cooperation. Today you drive, tomorrow your neighbour does. Everyone saves simply by swapping seats.
What if someone is late?
You sort it out in the chat, the way neighbours do. There are no penalties or deductions — there is nothing to deduct from, because there is no money in the system. If today does not work out, you lose nothing.
What if nobody is going my way?
Leave your route in the app and it keeps looking for matches every day. The more neighbours join, the denser the network of routes in your area becomes.
Can I carry children?
That is for you to agree between yourselves. Responsibility for the child seat and for following the rules rests with the driver — exactly as on any other trip.
How do you check participants?
Identity and phone number are confirmed before the first ride. Beyond that, the model itself works in your favour: you ride with neighbours and colleagues, not with random people off the street.
